What scans can I get at MANO LAB in Padi, Chennai?
- MANO LAB and Maruthi Scan Centre in Padi offers digital X-ray, ultrasound covering abdomen, pelvis and obstetric scans, 2D Echo, ECG and TMT treadmill stress testing. All imaging is done at our Padi centre and read by an experienced radiologist. Call +91 98405 90665 to check availability.
Do I need an appointment for a scan?
- You can walk in during working hours - Monday to Saturday 7 AM to 9 PM, and Sunday until 12 PM. Calling ahead on +91 98405 90665 or messaging us on WhatsApp lets us reserve a slot and tell you any preparation needed. Bring your referral if you have one.
How should I prepare for an ultrasound or a scan?
- Preparation depends on the scan. Some ultrasounds need a full bladder and some need fasting, so we confirm the exact requirement when you book. Digital X-ray needs no preparation beyond removing metal items and jewellery. 2D Echo and ECG need no preparation. For a TMT, wear comfortable shoes.
Is your X-ray facility licensed for radiation safety?
- Yes. Our radiography unit is authorised by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board under file number TN-59618-RF-XR-001, and the laboratory is NABL accredited to ISO 15189 under certificate NABLM0826TN10396. Both cover safety and quality standards at our Padi centre in Chennai.
